Many food safety incidents today are caused by packaging.” Based on extensive investigations, the association has recently released "2012 China Food Packaging Consumption Warning" provides consumers with the most accurate and practical methods.

1. Napkin paper. The association conducted investigations on the napkins in some supermarkets and farmers' markets in Tianjin and Jingtang and found that napkins in the restaurants were unqualified. The main problem was that the manufacturers used waste paper in the production process. In order to cover impurities and whiten, they added The toxic fluorescent brighteners, industrial talc, etc., are all potential carcinogenic factors. If napkins are dark and rough, paper is hard, and paper dust is dropped, be sure not to use their mouths. Colored or patterned napkins should also be avoided.

2. Disinfect the wipes. Currently, there are two problems with some disinfection wipes on the market. One is that bacteria exceed the standard, and the other is the addition of fluorescent brighteners, industrial-grade flavors and other substances. Therefore, when buying a wet tissue, it is necessary to see the logo, the manufacturer, and the expiration date. It is better for infants and young children to use less.

3. Disposable foaming lunch boxes. As early as 11 years ago, China banned the use of disposable foaming lunch boxes. However, due to its low cost and light weight, many companies are still producing illegally. Polystyrene, dimer and other materials of disposable foam plastic tableware will cause damage to the reproductive function. When using plastic lunch boxes, it is advisable to use the QS logo to minimize the use of foods containing fats and high temperatures.

4. Imitation porcelain tableware. Imitation porcelain tableware is colorful, lightweight and resistant to fall. It has become a special tableware for parents to feed their babies. However, improper use can damage health. At present, the melamine tableware on the market is difficult to identify the pros and cons from the appearance, in addition to supermarkets, regular shopping malls, it is best to buy less with color, do not heat in a microwave oven.

5.PVC cling film. PVC cling film contains plasticizers and is classified by the state as a restricted category. It also stipulates that meat, cooked foods, and fats and oils cannot be packaged directly. However, investigations have found that there are many phenomena in using food wrapped in supermarkets. Therefore, it is recommended that after the cooked food is bought from the supermarket, the plastic wrap be torn off and placed in other dishes. When buying plastic wrap, notice that the yellowish color is PVC material and the white one is qualified PE material.

6. Color straws. The survey found that straws in small restaurants, beverage shops, and breakfast stalls belong to three non-products. The brighter the colors, the greater the potential safety risks.

7. Stainless steel cutlery. Stealing work, heavy metals, excessive standards become the main problem of stainless steel cutlery. Since it is made of heavy metals such as iron, chromium, and nickel, it is prone to rust after prolonged contact with acids and alkalis. Therefore, it is not necessary to use this ingredient. In addition, the purchase of stainless steel pots should pay attention to the words 18-8, the greater the number indicates that the product's rust stronger and better performance.
